You will arrive at your lodge as the sun goes down and get settled into your rooms with private bathroom. Enjoy some free time before dinner to visit the floodlit waterhole, where you might have the chance to see some big game. Have dinner around the campfire and get to bed early tonight.
Start your day off early with a game drive at dawn to see predators at their most active moment of the day. Visit several waterholes and then make your way back to Halali for breakfast this morning. Board the vehicle again for a mid-morning game drive to the great white Etosha Salt Pan, an expansive 4,500 square kilometer saline desert, where you can walk around and take pictures.
Watch out for wild animals on your drive back to Halali, where you will have lunch and some free time to take a refreshing swim in the pool or go relax by the waterhole. Take an afternoon game drive to traverse the park today en route to Okaukuejo, stopping at waterholes and scenic points along the way. Tonight, you will sleep in twin share permanent tents with a private bathroom. Dinner will be prepared by your guide and then it’s light out until tomorrow.
Today, you will rise early for a quick breakfast and departure from your lodge at 7:30 a.m. Travel through the beautiful and dramatic landscapes of Damaraland today with the opportunity to meet the interesting Herero artisan women who sell handicrafts to support their families. Have lunch on the roadside with views of the Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s tallest, where you can awe at the harsh environment that many animals and people call home.
Continue your drive down the Skeleton Coast passing by a shipwreck and arriving at the seaside town of Swakopmund in the afternoon. Enjoy some free time to walk around town and choose a restaurant where you can have dinner on your own this evening (dinner is not included). Stay overnight in a twin share accommodation with a private bathroom.
