During this safari trip, you can opt for camping or chalet accommodation in Kruger National Park.
You will sleep in a hut with beds and an ensuite bathroom, linen, towels, soap, a small fridge, air-conditioning, and mosquito proofing on the doors & windows.
You will sleep in spacious dome tents equipped with beds, mattresses, blankets, and towels. Restrooms and showers will be shared and serviced regularly.
You will sleep in en-suite chalets with beds, linen, towels, air-conditioning, and mosquito nets on the doors and windows.
You will depart Johannesburg early on day one and drive to Kruger National Park. On the evening, you will take a sunset drive to see nocturnal animals. On the second day, you will rise early for a three to four-hour morning safari to see the animals during their most active time of day.
After that, you will enjoy free time at the camp to swim or watch birds from the viewing platform and take an afternoon game drive to see more animals. On the last day, you will take your last morning game drive before returning to Johannesburg arriving at night.
Today you will be picked up at a pre-determined meeting point in Johannesburg. Depending on where you are staying in the city, your pick-up time will be between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. You will travel for about six hours through the Highveld and Lowveld areas and admire the wide open African bush and scenic landscapes. After that, you will make a stop for lunch (not included) before reaching Kruger National Park in the afternoon. After getting settled in your accommodation, you can grab your camera for your first game drive around sunset.
A shared sunset game drive will allow you the chance to see nocturnal animals with a Kruger Park ranger in a Kruger vehicle. This game drive is shared and there will be other guests on the drive. You will return to the camp for a three-course meal under the stars served with a glass of wine. If you prefer alternative snacks or drinks, you can purchase them at the camp store. Get a good night’s rest and recharge your batteries for an exciting day ahead!
Safaris are all about early mornings getting out there and seeing animals. After an early wake-up call (the time varies according to the seasons and park gate opening times), you will have a tea or coffee with muffins. Your morning safari will last about three to four hours with a knowledgeable guide who will explain interesting facts about the park and animal behavior.
After returning to the camp for a midmorning breakfast or brunch, you will relax for a while. Then you will take advantage of your free time to take a nap, go swimming, visit the park shop, or take a walk around the camp. In the afternoon you will take another game drive to spot more wild animals and big game.
You will return to the camp this evening for a rewarding and delicious dinner and stories around the campfire under the starry night sky. All safari game drives are conducted in a four-by-four open-sided vehicle for the best wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities. The vehicles have a roof to protect passengers from sun and light rain.
Today, you will say goodbye to the fabulous Kruger Park on your last morning game drive and your last chance to spot the elusive animals that you did not see during your trip. You will have your breakfast back at the camp and then make the six-hour drive back to Johannesburg passing through the Lowveld and Highveld with a beautiful scenery. Bamba Experience recommends you to plan on sleeping overnight in Johannesburg tonight. You will be dropped off at a pre-determined meeting point.
On the last day, Bamba Experience plans on being back in Johannesburg between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. However, because of having multiple drop-off points, Bamba Experience cannot guarantee any specific return time. If you are flying out of Johannesburg on the same day, please do not book any flight departing before 8:00 p.m.
Bamba Experience offers an optional excursion to visit select attractions along the Panorama Route at no extra charge and replaces your game drives for the day. You will enjoy your breakfast in the camp at 07:30 a.m., depart from the camp at 08:15 a.m., and visit attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls, and God’s Window.
You will stop in one of the small towns en-route for having lunch at your own expense. You will be back in the camp between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. This excursion is available free of charge, replaces your game drives for the day, and will be coordinated by the staff of Bamba Experience while you are on safari with them. Kindly note that this excursion is not available on the first or last day of your safari due to time constrictions.

During this safari, you will be served a dinner on the first day, breakfasts or brunches and dinners on day two, and a breakfast on the last day as well as mineral bottled water during your day in Kruger National Park.
