You will be accommodated at Tucan Amazon Lodge. Located in the middle of the Amazon rain forest in the Negro River area, the lodge offers a unique structure for eco-tourists.
There are five new private huts with beds, air conditioning, and private bathrooms made from local materials. Its independent huts are protected against insects and they all have air conditioning and fans installed to insure the well being of the guests. The beds hold good quality and are equipped with mosquito nets, if necessary. Also, considering annoying insects, the location is well thought. There are in fact very few mosquitoes in the area throughout most of the year.

The transfer starts from the hotel or office, going first to the meeting of the waters (junction of the Negro and Solimões rivers). From this place the trip will continue by boat (speed boat) on a 30 to 50 minutes ride depending on the time of year. Arriving at the lodge, welcome drinks will be served with the guests being accommodated shortly thereafter.

At 7:00 p.m. dinner will be served.
After dinner the group will depart by motorized canoe for the alligator spotting and the guide, using his hands, will grab a small alligator and will explain about this feared animal of the Amazonian rivers. There is an opportunity for each member of the group to touch it and get great photos of the animal.
From 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., a small canoe trip will be held to observe the awakening of nature with the first rays of the sun and the silence being broken by the singing of birds and other animals of the region. At 7:00 a.m., breakfast is served and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. the jungle trekking is done. During the trekking, the guide will explain about the forest and about some medicinal plants found in the area. There is also a chance to observe tarantulas and other animals.
At 12:00 p.m., lunch is served and at 2:30 p.m. the group will depart to visit an indigenous community where they will attend an indigenous ritual (dancing), a great opportunity for photos and videos with the indigenous people. Once the visit is done, the group will visit the monkey forest, an area of the Ariaú Region where monkeys are living in a flooded forest area, a great moment for photos and videos of these animals. Afterwards, the group will return to the lodge, getting there at about 5:45 p.m.
After breakfast, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., a kayak tour (paddling) will be held to explore some streams of the region.
