You will stay in Prestige Hotel Suites and Broadbill Forest Camp.

Program

Day 1: Arrival and airport transfer

You will be welcomed by your professional guide who will transfer you to Prestige Hotel Suites in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay. You will visit Kasubi tombs which act as the most active religious and cultural center for Buganda kingdom. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Road transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

You will start your day with breakfast and get ready to start on your long journey of more than eight hours to Bwindi. You will have your first stop over at the Equator in Kayabwe-Masaka for pictures and coffee and then proceed with your journey. You will have your second stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and refreshments and then resume your journey up to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On your arrival, you will check in at Broadbill Forest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking and community visit

You will start your day with a morning breakfast and get ready to be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing from the UWA staff. A guide will then lead you into the jungle to see the shy primates of the booked group. Please do not forget to pack your lunch boxes before leaving your lodge as you will be having your lunch from the jungle. Gorilla trekking is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth and this experience lasts from two to six hours.

After tracking the gorillas from a closer range in their habitats with the help of the guide, you will be brought back to your lodge for afternoon relaxation. In the late afternoon, you will be picked to go for a village walk experience around the Buhoma area. This village walk gives you a great chance to see how people surrounding the park live their lives. This walk is the most informative and rewarding to the average visitor and trust Alps Trendy Safaris, you will be amazed at how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways of life. After the walk, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Road transfer to Entebbe Airport

You will start your last day with a warm breakfast as usual and get ready to embark on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe airport. You will have a stopover in Masaka town for lunch and then proceed with your journey up to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda. The park is found within the forest and Bwindi's impenetrable forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rainforest and its worldly known for its excellent gorilla sighting opportunities.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a known world heritage site declared by UNESCO because of its breathtaking natural beauty and unique ecological significance. The park is home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas on earth. This park is blessed with other attractions such as the spectacular Virunga volcanoes, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys, steep ridges, bird species, butterflies, and lastly the Batwa culture.
