You will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is one of Uganda’s oldest rainforests aged more than 25000 years with about 400 plant species. You will spend a day tracking mountain gorillas, taking their pictures, and enjoying their behavior. However, you will also visit the Batwa community and know their way of living.
Daily itinerary
Day 1: Flight transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest National Park
On your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will check in for an afternoon scheduled flight which will take approximately two hours to land at Kihihi airstrip. During your flight, you will enjoy the Ariel view of the beautiful landscape and the lushest highland rainforest on earth filled with primates and exotic bird species. Not forgetting valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps. On arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will be picked up by a professional guide in a safari vehicle and you will be driven to Silverback Lodge for afternoon relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will start your day with a morning breakfast and get ready to be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing from the UWA staff. A guide will then lead you into the jungle to see the shy primates of the booked group. Please do not forget to pack your lunch boxes before leaving your lodge as you will be having your lunch from the jungle. Gorilla trekking is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth and this experience lasts from two to six hours. After tracking the gorillas from a closer range in their habitats with the help of the guide, you will be brought back to your lodge for afternoon relaxation.
In the late afternoon, you will be picked to go for a village walk experience around the Buhoma area. This village walk gives you a great chance to see how people surrounding the park live their lives. This walk is the most informative and rewarding to the average visitor and trust Alps Trendy Safaris, you will be amazed at how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways of life. After the walk, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Flying back from Bwindi to Entebbe Airport
You will begin your day with a morning breakfast and get ready to be transferred to Kihihi airstrip for your flight which departs at 9:45 a.m. and is expected to arrive at Entebbe International Airport at 11:25 a.m. for your outbound flight. And this will mark the end of your tour.
