Lake Nakuru National Park is so picturesque it’s simply impossible to not love every moment of your safari holiday here! Travelers call it a true birdwatching heaven and it’s easy to see why. Nakuru Lake is home to 450 bird species and 56 different mammals. Flamingos, rhinos, zebras, or lions, you name them and they’re there. On top of that, the diversity of natural landscape is simply to die for! From grasslands to valleys and even waterfalls, you won’t believe the dazzling beauty of this land.
Africa is not all arid deserts and vast savannas teeming with large mammals and predators. Its barely touched jungles, narrow valleys, dramatic cliffs, snow-capped peaks, and crystal-clear seas are just aching to be explored.
By the time we got to Amboseli, passing colorful Maasai men and women, who rightfully called this area, too, home, I had gone through many states of tiredness, boredom, indignation, seen the slums of Nairobi and then let them all go down with a teasing French fry.
Going on a safari in Africa is inspiring and exciting. It is also wild. And while wild animal encounters make the experience that much more memorable, they are the biggest reason why we should discuss safety.
