The Arusha National Park is a small park in Tanzania, yet its wildlife is so rich you’ll be surprised! The diverse landscape allows an abundance of animals to live here; hippos, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, monkeys, even flamingos! You should also know that the park is home to the highest population of giraffes in all of Africa. So, if you like the beautiful, long-necked animals, this is the perfect place to see them in their natural habitat. It’s simply impossible to not have a memorable safari trip in Arusha National Park!
Africa is not all arid deserts and vast savannas teeming with large mammals and predators. Its barely touched jungles, narrow valleys, dramatic cliffs, snow-capped peaks, and crystal-clear seas are just aching to be explored.
By the time we got to Amboseli, passing colorful Maasai men and women, who rightfully called this area, too, home, I had gone through many states of tiredness, boredom, indignation, seen the slums of Nairobi and then let them all go down with a teasing French fry.
Going on a safari in Africa is inspiring and exciting. It is also wild. And while wild animal encounters make the experience that much more memorable, they are the biggest reason why we should discuss safety.
