During this safari, you will stay at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp, Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.

Miti Mingi Eco Camp

The camp is situated within the Masai Mara eco-system and on the banks of Ololaimutia River which is a watering point for most of the wild animals, especially elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, etc. This small and exclusive campsite comprises 25 tents.

The tents are furnished with all the amenities required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton, each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort. All tents have four-poster beds and mosquito nets, en-suite with shower, WC, and flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and electricity with a voltage of 240 volts.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. and drive west to Maasai Mara Game Reserve with lunch en route, arriving in time for an evening game drive. Masai Mara game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, there are well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year-round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the camp with hot showers and flush toilets.

Day 2: Masai Mara full day

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for games in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight accommodations are at the camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
