During the safari, you will be staying at Engagi Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park and Mweya Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, each for 2 nights.

Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your gorilla and wildlife safari and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This scenic drive will take approximately 9-10 hours. You will stop at the equator then head to Mbarara for lunch. Continue on your road journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you are scheduled to arrive in the evening.
You will wake up relatively early for your breakfast. Then, you will report to the park headquarters for registration and briefing. The guides will then take you through the forest, pushing your way through the undergrowth of the impenetrable forest to track the gorillas. The Gorilla trekking can take from 1-8 hours, therefore, a reasonable degree of fitness is required for gorilla trekking. Once the gorillas are located you will have one hour to watch the gorillas. If you happen to end your gorilla trekking early and still feel fit enough, you can take a community walk and see how the communities in this area live.
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth hosts a large variety of wildlife. You will go on a game drive in Ishasha area of the park in search of the tree climbing lions. If you are lucky, you may see the unique tree climbing lions in this area. Then, you shall continue your game drive on the way to Mweya Lodge for overnight.
Wake up very early in the morning take a cup of coffee and go for a game drive in the Kasenyi area of Queen Elizabeth National Park where lions and most of the wildlife is concentrated. On this game drive you will be able to see elephants, Uganda kob, buffaloes, waterbucks, and also lions or leopards if you are lucky. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then go on another game drive. After lunch, you will have a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will come up close with hippos and other animals that come to drink on the shores of the lake. If time allows, there will be another game drive before returning to the lodge.
After breakfast, you will have a final game drive on your way back to Entebbe. There will be a stop for lunch and another opportunity to stop at the equator for some shopping. you will arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon to connect with your flight back home.

The safari takes place in various places within Uganda, starting and ending in Entebbe. The places that you will visit in this safari including Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park is the home to the endangered Mountain gorillas. Moreover, the bird life in Bwindi is quite superb and there is an incredible variety of flora there. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park holds 348 species of birds and supports 24 of 26 Alberine rift endemics that occur in Uganda.
Queen Elizabeth hosts a large variety and volume of wildlife. It boasts one of the highest biodiversity ranging from the open savannah to rainforest, dense swamps and beautiful crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. You can find almost 10 species here that include hippos, buffaloes, lions, leopard, and the elusive giant forest hog. There are also over 600 species of birds that can be found here.
