Ngutuni Safari Lodge

There are 48 guest rooms accross four blocks that all face the watering hole, families can take advantage of the 8 interconnecting bedrooms. Rooms are equipped with one double and one single bed, comfortably housing 3 adults, or 2 adults and a child. Separate bathrooms with a hairdryer and shower come as standard along with telephones, dressing table, and a watering hole facing balcony with seating.

Sarova Salt Lick Lodge

Set within the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, this remote hotel perched on stilts overlooking open plains is 10 km from the A23 road. Humble rooms with ceiling fans feature tea and coffeemaking facilities, safes and mosquito nets.

Amenities include a casual restaurant offering floor-to-ceiling windows, plus a bar with a terrace. Outdoor, wilderness dining options can be arranged. There's also a spa. Guided safaris and nature hikes are available. Event space is offered.

Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa - Ngutuni Game Sanctuary

You leave Mombasa in the morning and drive to the Ngutuni Game Sanctuary. This is a journey that will give you a chance to enjoy the Kenyan landscape. You arrive at Ngutuni Safari Lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngutuni is on the border of Tsavo East National Park on the slopes of Sagala Mountains. Ngutuni Game Sanctuary is a home to big lions as well as big herds of elephants, giraffes, big groups of African water buffalos, zebras, the rare gerenuk, and wild dogs.

Day 2: Ngutuni Game Sanctuary - Taita Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary

You wake up to an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, you will check-out and drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Located at the foot of Taita Hills, this habitat varies from woodland to riverine forest to open acacia grasslands. The sanctuary is rich with wildlife and more than 300 residents and migrant species of birds. Night game drives are arranged as options. All meals and overnight stay will be at Sarova Salt Lick Lodge.

Day 3: Salt Lick Game Sanctuary - Mombasa

You will have early morning game drives before breakfast. Then, you embark on a game drive after breakfast en-route to Voi town for lunch. After lunch, you drive back to your Mombasa beach hotel arriving late afternoon.
