Location

Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is situated in southwest Kenya and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. It forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible, and most spectacular eco-systems, as well as possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing ecosystem.

Lake Nakuru National Reserve

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya’s two premium parks, and is a bird lover's paradise. It surrounds Lake Nakuru, located in the Central Rift Conservation Area in the Southern Rift Valley region of Kenya.

Originally protected as a bird sanctuary, this park hosts over 400 bird species, including five globally threatened species, and is an important stop on the African-Eurasian Migratory Flyway. This park was also the first national rhino sanctuary and hosts one of the world’s highest concentrations of the black rhinoceros.

Amboseli National Park

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.

Nature lovers can explore five different habitats there, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community that lives around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha (rough water) is a freshwater lake northwest of the capital Nairobi, and it is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes at 1,884m above sea level. Freshwater shores fringed with papyrus and yellow acacias, hippos frolicking in the shallows, and the cacophony of twittering birds create a lasting impression of Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha has many different types of wildlife, with a good portion of hippos and fish, including crayfish, tilapia, and black bass. There are 400 species of birds, of which great cormorants, long-tailed, fish eagles, pelicans, and all types of kingfishers as well as the grey-backed fiscal are just some.
