Accommodation
Enkorok Mara Camp is set on 30 acres of private land in Masai Mara Siana’s Conservancy. The camp overlooks the scenic Oloolotikoshi Hills and the spot is perfect for sundowners for guests relaxing after a game drive with a captivating sunset. The camp is set on the banks of the Oloirigynyisho River where zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and other wildlife regularly come to drink water.
Ololaimutia gate is located two and a half kilometers from the camp whilst the Keekorok Airstrip is 20 kilometers and Sekenani Gate is 25 kilometers away. The spacious and airy Tamu Tamu restaurant serves delectable meals and is designed as an African Hut which is a place where families eat together. The circular design of the hut ensured that there was one focal point and people were close-knit in the African culture.
The guests are family and the dining area is an integral part of the camp where you eat together and chat about the day's activities with the guests. Daily itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will be picked up from Nairobi and driven to Masai Mara with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley. Continue driving on through Longonot and Suswa and on to the Western Walls with another stopover at Narok for refueling and lunch. Arrive in the Mara in the afternoon. Check-in and relax before heading for an evening game drive. Later, return to your camp for dinner. A campfire gathering under the clear African sky follows after dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.
Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve
A full day is spent at the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Driving across the plains in search of the big cats (black manned lions, cheetahs, and leopards) with picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You also have a chance to see other plain games. Dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
After an early breakfast, you will have a game drive en route to Nairobi City. You will have stopovers in the towns to give you a chance to buy souvenirs. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
