Over 300 bird species have been recorded too. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best places to see the endangered black and white rhinos. You will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.
After having a hearty early morning breakfast, you will then drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve which offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. You will arrive at the intimate 20-tent Tipilikwani Mara Camp to a very warm welcome for lunch and some leisure. The afternoon is the moment you have been longing for. Maasai Mara National Reserve can never disappoint. You will be spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in the game reserve. After having a sumptuous breakfast, you will then depart for a full-day adventure. Be on the lookout for the big five that Masai Mara is famous for. These include lions, savannah (African) elephants, cape buffalos, leopards, and black rhinos.
In the early 20th century, Kenya was a famous big five hunting destination for pride, a sense of class, and a feeling of heroism. You may even be so lucky to witness a leopard or a cheetah sprint and make a kill. After that, you will return to the camp to have dinner and stay overnight.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will then depart with picnic lunch boxes via the Isebania and Sirari border. There, your guide drivers will help you through the immigration procedures and continue the journey to Tanzania.
Covering an area of 14.763 square kilometers, the world-famous Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest park and one of the world's last great wildlife refuges. The national park's ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa including more than three million large mammals. You will arrive at Serengeti Sopa Lodge to check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.
After having breakfast in the morning, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game-viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening, Serengeti's landscape is stunningly beautiful.
The rolling plains and grasslands, stretching far into the horizons as far as the eye can see, is home to the black-manned lions, the savannah elephants, the cape buffalos, wildebeests, the elusive leopards, cheetahs, the spotted and striped hyenas, rhinos, topis, burchelle’s zebras, and Masai giraffes among many others.

After breakfast, you will depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will stop at Oldupai Gorge, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world to learn about human evolution. You will enjoy an on-site talk on the interpretation of the Gorge by the resident guide. After that, you will arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for a warm welcome, check-in, and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will relax and enjoy the breathtaking spectacular views of the crater from the lodge. Ngorongoro Crater has the largest unbroken caldera in the world. It has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world.
Eight million years ago, Ngorongoro Crater was an active volcano before its cone collapsed and formed the crater that is 610 meters deep, 20 kilometers in diameter, and covers an area of 311 kilometers square. Spectacular as it is, the crater accounts for just a tenth of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater is home to many species of wild game and birds.
Except for impalas, topis (due to fierce competition with the wildebeests), and giraffe (because there is not much to eat at tree level), almost every species of African plains mammal including the endangered black rhinos and the densest population of predators in Africa lives in the crater. The birdlife, which includes the flamingo, is mainly seasonal and is also affected by the ratio of soda to fresh water in Lake Magadi on the crater floor. You will have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge. A warm jacket / cardigan is highly recommended.
After breakfast, you will descend 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of a game-viewing drive with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lion, herds of cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhinos, giraffes, golden and black-backed jackals, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and the spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plains.
Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exists inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater also has great archaeological importance with the remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in the area. The small lakes in the crater floor are also home to hundreds of bird species. You will return to the lodge in the late afternoon to enjoy dinner and stay overnight.
After enjoying your breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire and arrive at Tarangire Sopa Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will depart on an exciting game-viewing drive in the area dotted with majestic baobab trees and stately eland antelopes among other games. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry Tarangire's river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands crowd the shrinking lagoons.
It is the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem where a smorgasbord for predators and dry-country antelopes such as the stately fringe-eared oryxes and peculiar long-necked gerenuks are regularly observed. You will then enjoy dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After enjoying an early morning breakfast, you will depart via the Namanga border to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge to a very warm welcome, check in, and have lunch afterward. In the afternoon, you will depart to have a game-viewing drive.
Amboseli is home to lions, buffalos, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, gazelle hippos, and wildebeests among many others. It is also an ornithological paradise with over 400 species of birds, flora, fauna, and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa. You will then enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.
On this day, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game-viewing drives. Amboseli offers some of the most breathtaking views in Africa. Its scenery, one of the best places for a photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting), is next to none and best seen on a clear day. Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. The park is famous for its large herds of giant elephants. You will enjoy meals and stay overnight at the lodge.
In the morning, you will enjoy breakfast before checking out from the lodge. The unbelievably good bush moments will come to an end. You will bid farewell to the wonderful lodge manager and his team and then depart back to Nairobi. You will not leave empty-handed, though. You will have photographs of the special moments you have had on this tour to immortalize the experience.
Your guide driver will then transfer you to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch and then continue to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your home-bound flight.
Besides game drives to the national parks, you will also visit Oldupai Gorge in Tanzania. It is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world where you can learn about human evolution.
