The accommodation will be at the Ol Moran Tented Camp. This is an exclusive tented camp for those who want to be true to wild experience. The camp is situated within the Maasai Mara ecosystem and on the banks of Ololaimutia River which is a watering point for most of the wild animals especially elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Ol Moran Tented Camp has 16 spacious and exclusive mosquito repellents tents. Two of the tents are luxurious with double and twin beds and a mosquito net for the family with an infant all in a serene wildlife environment. All the tents are self-contained with ensuite bathrooms, a modern hot and cold shower, and a flush toilet.

Day 1 - Arrival

Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi at 7.30 a.m. Then, drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which will take about five to six hours, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon will be the game viewing time to spot the big five as your introduction to the park. You will then have dinner and an overnight stay at Ol Moran Tented Camp.

Day 2 - Game drives

You will have a full day in the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. November's short rains trigger the last leg of the migration when the wildebeest move south to Serengeti. You will then have dinner and an overnight stay at Ol Moran Tented Camp.

Day 3 - Departure

Wake up to an early morning game viewing session then return to the camp for breakfast. You will then check out and be driven back through the Maasai town of Narok with on route stop for some souvenir shopping. You will arrive in Nairobi at approximately 2 to 3 p.m. and be dropped off back to your hotel in Nairobi.

The safari trip will take place in Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. You will have the best time of your life taking in the animals in their natural habitat.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

This place is a pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion of wildlife, prolific bird life, and the opportunity of catching up with all the members of the big five in one morning. The 1,800 square kilometers of this veteran reserve offers the mix of African imagery, miles of lion-gold grasslands, shoals of lilac-misted hills, a meandering river, acres of thorn-bush, and mile upon mile of undulating wilderness.

Game viewing in the Maasai Mara is excellent all year around thanks to the diverse population of resident game, including the big five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, plus popular species like zebra, giraffe, hyena, eland, and gazelle. The Mara’s big cats are even the stars of a popular wildlife TV series.

Masai Mara National Reserve offers one of the best opportunities to see cheetahs and lions in Africa. A visit to this reserve in July will allow you the best chance to witness and watch firsthand as thousands of wildebeest migrate across the swollen crocodile-infested Mara River. This is one of the nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles, the wildebeest migration, when it reaches Masai Mara.

The sheer number of wildebeests arriving in the area is staggering. The migration is a dramatic mass movement of almost two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles in a seasonal annual cycle driven by rainfall. In order to reach Masai Mara fresh grazing, wildebeests make dramatic river crossings, facing enormous crocodiles to feast on the Mara plains, and regain their strength.

"If you want to have a real jungle experience, trust me, Kenya wildlife safari can do it for you. Our group went for Kenyan camping safari for the real nature experience. It was a bit different for us city people but totally worth it. We even tried to make our own food with the help from our guide on our last night in the jungle. We will never forget this trip!"

"We took Kenya wildlife safari for our family vacation a few weeks back. As expected, it was really great. Our tour guide ensured to make this a happy family time for us. We went for animal sight-seeing along the banks of Mara River and also took the hot air balloon ride. It was a great time for our family."

"This was my first time in Kenya and I was pretty anxious about this whole safari thing. My friends talked me into this on our visit to Tanzania and I am sort of glad they did. It was a one of a kind experience for me. I heard so many things about Kenya but the safari tour changed it all. The people on our tour that I met, the food we had, village walks, and the hotel stay over here were just perfect. Really a great experience."

"My son wanted to go for a safari for a very long time, so we finally decided to take one during his summer break. It turned out to be very educative for him and for us since we never went to any jungle or forest. We went for Maasai Mara safari and it was just amazing. Visiting the Maasai village, viewing animals in their natural habitat, and spending nights amidst all that was mind blowing. We are planning to have another safari next year now!"

"We booked a three night safari with African Sermon Safaris in Kenya and were amazed at how beautiful the park is. The majesty of Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop with the largest herds of elephants was a great experience for us. It was nice having great views of the African highest peak and its snow caps which formed the highlight of our trip. Amboseli National Park offers everyone who visits it a truly remarkable and memorable experience."

"For all the three nights in Amboseli, we stayed at the Amboseli Serena Lodge which was lovely, offering the best food, accommodation, and service. All the four of us had a nice safari van on a private basis which allowed us the opportunity to take photographs. Our driver viz guide, John Kabiro, was an amazing guide, a keen animal spotter, has a wealth of information, and overall exceeded our expectations. We would, without any hesitation, recommend you to visit Amboseli National Park including the authentic Maasai village, Amboseli Serena Lodge. Kenya is really a beautiful country! Hopefully, we will ever have time to visit it again in the future."

"My family of four wanted a holiday of a lifetime and we got it right. African Sermon Safaris organised an amazing trip and handled everything so well, giving me peace of mind as a first-time traveller to Kenya. As soon as we arrived, African Sermon Safaris staff were there to meet us at the airport and were fantastic from start to finish. The driver was courteous and friendly with clean and well-maintained vehicle throughout the trip. The guide (John) on safari was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He had a fantastic way of underselling and overdelivering on every game drive. I knew we were in for a good trip when we’d seen the big five in the first two days. I think seeing a cheetah was a major highlight for me as I’d always wanted to see them in the wild. I wasn’t expecting to see all the big five during my trip."

"We travelled in October 2013 and visited Kenya. The other main highlight had to be the balloon ride over Masai Mara plains. It’s an experience that I’ll never forget. We saw a part of the great wildebeest migration. I would strongly recommend this company that arranged our trip. It was fantastic and I’d love to come back at some stage in the near future."

"I wish to recommend African Sermon Safaris for a Kenya safari holiday experience. My family had initially intended to travel to Kenya in September 2009 but my son had an emergency illness some two months prior to the tour dates. We ended up canceling our trip plans. Finally, we managed to make our dream come true and ended up traveling in September 2013. We had been recommended by my colleague at work, here in California, the USA who had made use of their services in early 2009 and was pleased with them."

"My husband, our two teenage sons, and I had an outstanding safari experience with the company. We took a 14-day tour through great wildlife parks - Amboseli, Mount Kenya, Samburu, OlPejeta, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara. The accommodations were so great and the service was exceptional to international standards. The hotels we stayed at are Serena Hotels in all places except Lake Nakuru Park where we stayed at the Savora Lion Hill Lodging. Having read wonderful reviews before, Fairview Hotel in Nairobi matched our expectations and we felt homely here."

"The trip was excellent. Amboseli was amazing with clear great views of Mount Kilimanjaro whilst in Amboseli. Sweetwaters Tented Camp (Morani Tents) was so large, exquisite, and luxurious; we wished we stayed there longer than the two nights we had. Mara Serena was the best choice we made on our last stay in Kenya. We stayed there for 4 restful nights, which was the best thing to do. The lodge has outstanding views of the plains as far as the eyes could see. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. The beds were comfortable and the meals were sumptuous. My sons enjoyed being at the newly opened gym and spa as my husband and I liked being by the scenic poolside area. Another plus to this is that it had Wi-Fi."

"Masai Mara was the highlight of the tour as we had the chance to see wildebeest migration and river crossings. We were lucky to have seen the wildebeests crossing the Mara River on four occasions and it was so amazing. We have so many shots and are still trying to sort them. However, there was overcrowding of tourist numbers and vehicles as all the tourists wanted to see the crossings and there was a struggle for space. In my opinion, I think the park management can do something to control the river crossing numbers, maybe they can schedule a certain number per session to avoid congestion and some of the rowdy and noisy tourists."

"The company booked us for a balloon ride with Skyship Balloon Company which was so amazing, especially as it lifted up and down through the meandering Mara River. We were lucky to have had the opportunity for an aerial view of the migrating wildebeests. We enjoyed the bush champagne breakfast culminated the end of our balloon ride experience."

"We were provided with a very flexible warm service and felt really safe whilst we were out there on our safari. We had John Kabiro as our driver and guide. He was the nicest, knowledgeable, safest, friendliest, and most competent guide we had the fortune of meeting. We found John's knowledge of the animals to be fabulous especially spotting and identification. He had guide books that helped us to learn more about the spotted animals and were lucky enough to have spotted all the big five several times and much more others than we had anticipated. John was a very safe driver and was so caring to us despite some of the road being in a horrible state. He sat with us during every meal time and often kept checking on us to see we were quite comfortable. At the end of the trip, we tipped him quite well as we felt he was a superb guide, topnotch!"

"We had a nice and comfortable safari vehicle, a well maintained Toyota Hiace with a root that popped up during game viewing drives and shaded us from direct sunlight. The vehicle had several guide books, two pairs of binoculars, cooler box with free bottled drinking water. We were replenished every day."

"During our planning stage, African Sermon Safaris was quite flexible with our ever changing schedule and was willing to negotiate on the price to suit our needs. Daniel Maina, the contact person, was so fast in replying our emails and provided us with all the useful information necessary for our trip and has detailed answers to all of our questions promptly. He even met us on arrival in Nairobi and made trip briefs with us, which we highly appreciated. We found their service to be exceptional and would recommend and vouch for them. We are still struggling to get back into the 'swing of things' after such a wonderful trip, the best we have had in our many travels across the world."
