Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is cleverly laid out in such a way that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of Lake Nakuru National Park. The lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways, and greens dotted with bird feeds. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge has 67 chalets, divided into 64 standard rooms and 3 suites.
AA Lodge Mara is uniquely laid out over sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees, a large swimming pool overlooking the lodge bonfire, the main restaurant, bar, and several dining options. The lodge has 42 classic tents and 36 cottages. There is a conference hall with a capacity of up to 250 delegates and numerous outdoor venues for dining and leisure. There is also a lobby at the reception for relaxation after a long drive to the lodge. The entire camp is surrounded by a 24-hour electric fence and highly trained security personnel.
Upon arrival in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) and on clearing immigration and customs, you’ll be met and greeted by your African Paradise Safaris journey guides. Then, you’ll be transferred to your downtown centrally located city hotel namely Sarova Stanley Hotel. You can relax depending on your arrival time or do a little sightseeing around the city. You will then stay overnight at the hotel.
Hot breakfast will be served to you at your hotel. After meet and greet, a briefing safari will be given to you. Then, you will depart for Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive, return to the lodge for dinner, and then stay overnight. During your game drive, you will be searching for the big herds of the African elephants, cheetahs, lions, gazelles, and the elusive eland. Weather permitting, you will be able to have a magnificent view of the Kilimanjaro.
You will enjoy a full day exploration of the park. After breakfast, you will depart on a morning game drive. You will be transferred to your lodge for lunch at leisure. After that, you will embark on an afternoon game drive. You will be able to see the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Big Five, and more than 400 birds species. Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner.
Awake to the sound of marching elephants and chirping of birds, you will have breakfast at your lodge. After finishing your breakfast, you will check out and drive through the cool Great Rift Valley environment towards Nakuru. You will drive through the park and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After that, you will have an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
You can spot the Rothschild's giraffes, lions, white and black rhinos, as well as the leopard depending on your luck. The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise. A myriad of both greater and lesser flamingos have made this lake their home.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will head southward to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch so you can relax. After that, you will have an afternoon game drive at the reserve. In this case, you will go on an exploratory drive around the 1,792-square-kilometer game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River, and its tributaries.
You will then get introduced to the herbivores such as elephant, rhino, buffalo, a variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe, and the Burchell's zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah, and leopard. Also to be seen are the largest bird, the Masai ostrich, the secretary bird, the crested crane, and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. After that, you will return to your lodge by sunset to have dinner and stay overnight at AA Lodge Mara.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to encounter an abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males. You may also witness a great migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. You are likely to see many elephants here often in large herds, as well as if you're lucky, leopard, cheetah, and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo.
You will feast on your breakfast at leisure. Later, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi with an en route game drive. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will have your lunch at Carnivore restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your home flight.
This safari will take you from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Maasai Mara National Reserve. Lake Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the lake. Located in the middle of the Great Rift valley, Lake Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild's giraffe, lions, white and black rhinos, as well as the leopard. Meanwhile, Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males.
