Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cottons, each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize your comfort. All tents have the following facilities:
You will be picked from your hotel and depart southwards to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time to have lunch and relax. After that, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. The 1,792 square kilometers game park has low hills, savannah type rolling grasslands, and gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries.
You will get introduced to the herbivores such as elephants, rhinos, buffalos, various antelopes, Masai giraffes, and Burchell zebras. The carnivores are black mane lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You can also see Masai ostrich, secretarybirds, crested cranes, and saddle-bill storks. Crocodiles and hippos can also be seen in the river. You will return by sunset to have dinner and stay overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.
On this day, you will have morning and afternoon game drives. Maasai Mara is noted for the great migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. It is an experience of the battle between survival and hunger.
You will likely to see lots of elephants often in large herds, and if you're lucky, leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos. All of the Big Five animals are the residents. You will also get to see African buffalos. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film / tapes, and enjoy yourselves! In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp. Full board-based accommodation will be provided at the camp.
You will enjoy a hot early breakfast at the camp. After that, you will check out and drive to Nairobi where you will be transferred to your hotel.
