Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Pick up from your hotel at 06:00 and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately a 5 hours’ drive. You will arrive for hot lunch inside the park. After lunch, proceed with a game drive in Mikumi National Park until sunset.
Animals commonly found there include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and many more. Wild dogs can come and go in this park. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain will amaze you. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.

Day 2: Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountain National Park
After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park headquarter to complete formalities. You will drive to the starting point of famous Sanje trail and you will start trekking in this beautiful mountain enjoying and experiencing the stunning natural beauty of the park.
Have a picnic lunch in the bush and then proceed to explore the area. You will get the access to wonderful Sanje waterfall, stunning at 170 m. You will see different species of monkeys including the endemic species of Sanje crested mangabey and Iringa red colobus monkey. You will get the chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools. After trekking, start the drive back to Mikumi Bastian Campsite. Relax and enjoy your afternoon in the swimming pool at the camp.

Day 3: Visit the Maasai tribe then drive to Dar es Salaam
Wake up for breakfast in the camp and later drive to the Maasai tribe. Today you will get the chance to visit the Maasai Boma to see how they live and get the history of their tribe. After visiting the Maasai Boma, you will start driving back to Dar es Salaam with a short stop for hot lunch in Morogoro town. On arrival to Dar es Salaam you will be dropped off at the place of your choice.
