During your safari, you will be accommodated for 1 night at The Ark Lodge or similar, 1 night at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar, and 2 nights at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
You will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) and meet the African Mosaic Tours' representative who will brief you on your safari and proceed towards the foothills of Aberdares Range to the base hotel.
You will have a time for a leisurely lunch with the views over Mount Kenya where you can see the mountain range running through the Aberdares, moorland, ice-cold streams, and thick forests. After lunch, you will be transferred to The Ark Hotel where you will see game at the comfort of your hotel. You will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at The Ark Hotel or similar.
You will leave your hotel to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru and the other lakes of the Great Rift Valley are the few geological features of the earth visible from outer space. The park is famous for its stunning flock of loner flamingos, which literally turn its shores pink.
You will then enjoy a late lunch, followed by afternoon game drive where you can expect to see roam waterbucks, Bohor reedbucks, zebras, the black and white rhinos, lions, Rothschild giraffes, and white and black colobus monkeys. The bird life in Lake Nakuru is plentiful and that's the reason why it's a beacon for leading ornithologist and wildlife film makers. You will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar.
You will leave your lodge to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. This is the most popular park in Kenya because of its abundance of game and beautiful landscape. It has one of the highest concentrations of predators in Africa.You will arrive in the time of lunch.
Early afternoon will be spent at leisure and later followed by a game drive that will bring the exciting wildlife that makes Masai Mara famous all over the world. You can see the black maned lions, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, hyenas, and prey or plains game. There is also plenty of bird life with over 402 species recorded. You will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
You will enjoy an early morning game drive and then drive back to the camp / lodge for a full breakfast. Then after lunch, you will be proceed for another game drive visiting Mara River to see hippos, crocodiles, and the migration point of the wild beasts. There's also another option of proceeding for a game drive with a packed lunch until evening. You will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
You will enjoy an early morning game viewing followed by breakfast. After that, you will be dropped off to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO).
Your safari will be held in Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya.
Majestic Maasai Mara is home to great annual animal migration from Serengeti to Tanzania and probably the most famous visited national park in East Africa and Africa. You can see the Big Five (buffalo, lion, elephant, leopard, and rhino) and the Maasai tribe here. The animal migration starts in June and ends in September in search of pasture under the watchful eye of vultures and eagles, and at the mercy of hyena, crocodile, and hippo.
Lake Nakuru is Africa’s famous ornithological lake with stunning flocks of pink lesser flamingos that turns its water pink. It has great ecological diversity, from lake water, woodland, rocky escarpments, and ridges. The games include hippos, reedbuck, zebra, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard, lion, Rothschild’s giraffe, white and black colobus monkey, bushlands, eland, steinbok, impala, Chandler's reedbuck, dik dik, rock hyrax, and klipspringer which occupy the cliffs and its escarpment.
Aberdare National Park is part of Aberdare Mountain range, a fascinating region of Kenya. It's popular with bongos, leopards, elephants, indigenous black rhino, and the diverse ecosystem including rainforest, waterfalls, and table mountains. The mountain ranges and peaks are 14,000 feet deep V-shaped valleys with streams and rivers cascading over spectacular waterfalls which offers real majestic landscape views.
It's home to eland and other animals including giant alpine varieties of lobelia, groundsel, and heather. Aberdare National Park is ideal for walking, picnics, camping, and trout fishing in the rivers nearby. You can also spot elephants, buffalos, giant forest hogs, Kenya's indigenous and endangered black rhinos, lions, leopards, baboons, black and white colobus, Sykes monkeys, and abundant birds.
