This camping safari is renowned for the outstanding wide open plains and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Full board accommodation will be provided for you to complete your safari experience!
During your safari, you will be accommodated for two nights in self contained tents. You will be staying at either Sentrim, Olmorn, or another similar tented camp in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
You will be picked-up from your hotel in Nairobi at 8:00 a.m. and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Continue to Narok, a small Masai town then to Masai Mara, followed by management’s welcome briefing at the camp. After lunch, get ready for an afternoon game viewing to see the many animals that inhabit the park. Return to the camp before sunset, sit around the campfire, and hear the sounds of the night whisper softly into your ears. Dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim, Olmorn, or Semillar tented camp.
After breakfast, get ready to spend a full day game drives! This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game. Lunch is served in the park, and you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
An early morning game drive in Masai Mara will be followed by late breakfast at the campsite and a departure to Nairobi stopping sporadically for the breathtaking panoramic views of the rift valley and adjacent land-forms. The tour ends in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
Majestic Masai Mara, home to great annual animal migration from Serengeti from Tanzania, probably the most famous visited National park in East Africa and Africa. You can see the Big Five (buffalo, lion, elephant, leopard, rhino) and it is also home to the Maasai tribe. Animal migration starts in June and ends in September in search of pasture under watchful eye of vultures, eagles and at the mercy of hyena, crocodile, and hippo.
