"My husband and I spent a month in Namibia with African Big5 Safaris and it was an absolutely wonderful and unique experience. Lourens' very efficient organisational skills meant that we had a great variety of sights to enjoy from game drives in Erindi and Etosha which were absolutely outstanding to seeing the wild rugged beauty of the Skeleton Coast and the Sossusvlei region to seeing the indigenous peoples of Damaraland re-enacting the skills of their forebears. Lourens our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the wildlife and he is a passionate wildlife photographer who is able to give budding photographers great hints. His local knowledge is excellent and he was most obliging. All bookings went without a hitch. We had an absolutely wonderful time and have no hesitation in recommending African Big5 Safaris."

"I booked to go with Lourens as a person with limited photographic knowledge but plenty of enthusiasm. I was surprised at what I learnt from him in the time we had together. The vehicle was specially equipped with brackets to hold your cameras steady whilst taking photos. The enthusiasm of both Lourens and his proffessional driver was amazing. We were fortunate to see all of the Big Five every day except the day of departure when we still saw four of them. The quality of the photos I took were amazing, something I thought I would never achieve. I would recommend his trips to anyone with a passion for photograhy and / or wildlife."

"Having traveled to Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, and Namibia in 2014 and 2015 as a solo traveler, I can honestly say I always felt safe. Photographic opportunities, especially with Lourens' guidance, were fantastic and fun had by all in a small group. I highly recommend and am just waiting for the next opportunity to do it all again."
