Day 2: Nxai Pan - Exploration day

Nxai Pan is a unique attraction of Botswana, located in northern part of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. It has a vast of wildlife species that reside in the reserve area. The grass-covered pans are scattered with acacia trees and mopane woodland, and provide a haven for wildlife when they turn green during the rainy season.

Day 3: Makgadikgadi Pan (meerkats)

Rise early to visit the habituated meerkats, whose foraging, barking, grooming, and general antics are highly defined social structure, provide endless entertainment and intrigue. A packed lunch will be served following an African safari experience.

Makgadikgadi offers stark nature viewing that is striking and contrasting when compared to the Okavango Delta. It consists of many large salt pans, the largest of which reach 4,900 square kilometers, which are seasonally covered in water and grass.

Day 4, 5, and 6: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the second largest game reserve in the world. Situated in the center of Botswana, this reserve is characterized by vast open plains, salt pans, and ancient riverbeds. You camp in Central Kalahari Game Reserve for three nights.

Day 7: Hyena veld

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and head on to hyena veld for another safari experience. You will participate in a nature walk led by local San bushmen trackers. They will share their intricate bush knowledge and give you an insight into their unique and intriguing culture.

Day 8: Khwai

This area is reached in evergreen trees and wildlife such as predators and prey. Lions and leopards sighting are some of the common game viewing highlights in the area as well as exceptional birding such as kingfishers and wattled crane among many. This area encompasses wetlands where water-based activities are the best to experience the floodplains formed by the presently listed heritage site, the Okavango Delta.

Your trips are conducted by qualified professional guides who are well-equipped with the knowledge of the wildlife, culture, and history of the attractions as well as the country. For good photographic pictures, your guides are enthusiastic and eager to help you to take quality pictures that will create everlasting memories of the trip.

In the afternoon, you may choose to do mokoro excursion (at own expense) in order to fully experience the serenity of this pristine wilderness area.

Day 11, 12, and 13: Savuti
