Situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's elite parks. The park is renowned for the hundreds of elephants roaming its African plains. While on your game drives, you will also get to enjoy the other wildlife such as the leopards, lions, wildebeest, zebra, and giraffes within the different habitat types present within the park. The park also has a very prolific bird life, with over 500 bird species.

Lodge accommodation will be provided as per the preference of the client and it can be a mid-range or a luxury lodge. Some of the lodges available include Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Sentrim Amboseli, Ol Tukai Lodge, or Serena Amboseli Lodge.


Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

Start your day off with breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, from where you will be picked up. Depart for Amboseli National Park soon after breakfast via the Namanga border. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game viewing drive where you can get to enjoy watching the large herds of elephants, as well as the other big five with Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli

Enjoy breakfast in the morning at your hotel followed by a morning game drive where you will be able to soak in the spectacular view of the tallest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, surrounded by different habitats that are home to different flora and fauna. Return for lunch and a rest period at the lodge where you can enjoy the lodge facilities, followed by a late afternoon game viewing drive session. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge followed by one final game drive before your exit from the park. Depart for Nairobi afterward with lunch en-route. Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or airport in the afternoon.


The Amboseli National Park is located to the south of Kenya bordering Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro is the most dominant feature of Amboseli. Down this awesome mountain are great plains of grasslands. One gets an easy viewing of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, prides of lions, and herds of elephants.
