You will be accommodated at Basecamp Maasai Mara for the first and the second night, and then at Wilderness Camp for the third night, and at Eagle View for the fourth and the fifth night.


Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara by domestic flight

You will land at Ol Kiombo Airstrip and find the experienced Maasai guides waiting ready to take you for the first game drive with the luxurious 4 x 4 safari land cruisers. As you move around, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Maasai Mara and watch the amazing lions, elephants, cheetah, and leopards moving around. You will be transferred to Basecamp Maasai Mara where you will enjoy delicious lunch freshly prepared by the experienced Maasai chefs.

After lunch, you will walk around the camp enjoying the fresh atmosphere and the calmness of Maasai Mara. At 16:00, the experienced Maasai guides will take you for another game drive where you will explore new dimensions of the savanna. In the evening, you will return to the Basecamp Maasai Mara for your yummy three-course dinner and then enjoy story sharing around the fire before sleeping. You will stay overnight at Basecamp Masai Mara

Day 2: Basecamp walk and game drive

You will rise up to a beautiful sunshine and amazing voices of birdlife. After your breakfast, the experienced naturalist Maasai guide will take you around the camp compound. During your walk, you will be introduced to the Basecamp Maasai Brand (BMB) workshop, one of the capacity building project that has employed 118 women. This is part of things that have made Basecamp famous. You will complete the walk by planting a tree just like the Obama family did when they last visited this beautiful place.

After a yummy lunch served underneath the trees overlooking the Maasai Mara National Reserve, stroll across the private suspension bridge to join your Maasai guide for an afternoon game drive. You will wind up your game drive with a traditional basecamp sundowner under an acacia tree. You will then return to Basecamp Maasai Mara for your dinner followed by storytelling around the fire then overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Naboisho Conservancy

You will wake up to the rising sunshine and after breakfast, you will join your Maasai guide for a bird walk along the riverbed. As you walk beside the river, you will enjoy the beautiful vegetation around the Talek River, home to more than 286 different bird species. After lunch and refreshing, prepare to depart to the next destination of your journey through the Basecamp Circuit: Wilderness Camp. Tucked away deep inside the incomparable Saddle Valley in Naboisho Conservancy, Wilderness Camp has been designed as a tribute to safari as it was meant to be.

You will arrive at Wilderness Camp in time for a basecamp sundowner. The camp has been beautifully designed and strategically located to allow exceptional views of the sunrise and sunset. You will then enjoy the contrast of eating the first-class cuisine in the middle of the wilderness. After dinner, you will gather around the fireplace to listen to the beautiful voices of Maasai singing their traditional songs. You will stay overnight at Wilderness Camp.

Day 4: Morning walking safari, visit to Koiyaki Guiding School, and afternoon game drive in Naboisho

You will wake up to the beautiful sunshine then prepare for a morning walking safari across the savanna under the guidance of a Maasai guide. This is an exciting experience and memorable experience, only allowed inside private conservancies such as Naboisho. You will then arrive at Eagle View Camp for breakfast, enjoyed in the airy dining area. Eagle View is located atop a natural hilltop, allowing for exceptional views of the savanna.

In the afternoon, the Maasai guide will take you to Koiyaki Guiding School (KGS). Koiyaki Guiding School trains young Maasai youth on tourism and other nature-based enterprise courses, thereby providing them with employment opportunities while promoting and encouraging long-term conservation of the unique Masai Mara ecosystem.

You will end your afternoon game drive with a basecamp sundowner on the open savannah. As you drive back to camp in the evening, you will enjoy viewing nocturnal animals of Naboisho. This exciting night safari can only be experienced inside private conservancies like Naboisho. You will return to camp for your yummy dinner followed by storytelling around the fire before sleeping.

Day 5: Full day of walking safari

You will to rising sunshine and amazing voices of birds and you will then take your breakfast before starting your full day walking safari. This is a rare opportunity where Maasai guide will introduce and teach you more about savannah and how to identify different wildlife using footprints and different kinds of dung.

At lunchtime, your guide will locate the acacia tree that provides the best shade where you can refresh and take your packed lunch. In the evening, you will start your journey back to Eagle View for your overnight stay. Upon arriving, you will enjoy a yummy dinner followed by storytelling around the fire before sleeping.

Day 6: Game drive and domestic flight to Nairobi, departure day

Wake up to the beautiful rising sunshine and prepare for the last morning game drive. You will witness how the savanna springs to life as the sun rises as you walk around followed by a picnic breakfast on the savanna. After lunch and refreshing, you will pack your belongings as you prepare to check out.

You will be driven to Naboisho airstrip to catch your flight scheduled at 16:00. From there, you can choose to return home or opt to visit the famous coastal region of Kenya. This is an exciting and memorable safari that you can’t afford to miss, the value of your money is guaranteed.
