Basecamp Masai Mara

Basecamp Masai Mara has 12 double riverside rooms which are built along the banks of Talek River, the natural border to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The dense riverbed foliage allows for a maximum privacy and comfort without compromising the view of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. All rooms are fitted with bio-flush toilets, solar-heated safari showers, and a private balcony where you can have a direct view of Maasai Mara National Reserve. The room also has two separate wings and features a double bed with a shared bathroom area.

Eagle View Camp

Eagle View Camp is an eco-lodge located inside Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Kenya. This place appears in National Geographic Travelers Magazine in 2013 as the top 25-eco-lodge in the world. Eagle View Camp is located atop a natural hilltop, allowing for exceptional views of Mara Naboisho Conservancy. The place overlooks a waterhole which is frequently visited by a variety of wildlife including elephants. Moreover, Eagle View Camp consists of 9 double viewpoint rooms built on elevated platforms.

Each room offers raised canvas ceilings for a spacious feeling, soothing earth coloring, and a king-sized bed comfortably fitted with fresh white linen and indulgent duvets. For your ultimate comfort, each room has a private bathroom area featuring bio-flush toilets, two showers that are located inside and in an open-air shower, and a private elevated viewing deck. Two of these double viewpoint rooms have separate annexes with two additional beds and a private bathroom area.

Upon arrival, you will be taken to Basecamp Masai Mara for a refreshing lunch. After taking your favorite lunch, you can get some time to rest before going for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up to the rising sunshine. Afterward, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives or an option for an early morning balloon flight over Maasai Mara National Reserve while watching beautiful scenery. In addition, you will have a lifetime opportunity to enjoy sparkling bush breakfast at an additional cost from 425 USD. In the evening, you will return to Basecamp Masai Mara for your overnight stay.

You will wake up to a beautiful sunshine and start your morning game drive. Afterward, you will return to the camp since there will be a delicious breakfast waiting for you. After having your refreshing breakfast, you can start packing your belongings and get ready to depart to Eagle View Camp which is located inside Mara Naboisho Conservancy. Upon arrival, you will have your favorite lunch and then, refresh as you will prepare for an exciting game drive at 16:00 under the guidance of an experienced guide.

The number of vehicles entering Mara Naboisho Conservancy is limited and this makes the wildlife go about their business without much intrusion. Thus, visitors can view a range of species. This is also a lifetime opportunity to view the amazing northern migration of wildebeests. The wildebeests walk down from the Loita Plains in search of fresh grass and water just like their counterparts in the southern part. You will enjoy viewing the various landscape of Mara Naboisho Conservancy and numerous lions as you enjoy the drive.
