This safari holiday will take place at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in the southwestern corner of Uganda. It covers the northern slopes of the three extinct volcanoes of the Virunga Mountains - Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Sabyinyo. The entire park is in the Bufumbira County of the Kisoro District, as it covers 33.7 square kilometers and consists of the partly-forested slopes of the three volcanoes.
The park is about 10 kilometers south of Kisoro, and is bordered to the south by the Republic of Rwanda and to the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
