During this safari trip, you will stay at various accommodations such as the Waterfront Lodge, Thebe River Camping, Nambwa Camp, Swamp Stop Camp, Gweta Chalets, Elephant Sands Camp, and Kwa Nonkeng Chalet. You will stay five nights at different lodges and four nights in different campsites.

Day 1 to 2 - Livingstone

After your arrival in Livingstone, you will be transferred to your lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River where you will meet your guide for the duration of your safari. The day will be spent in leisure or you may also participate in any of the late afternoon activities on offer.

A full day of activities is on offer for the second day, where you may participate on any of the many activities or spend the day soaking in the warm African sky at your lodge. You may visit Victoria Falls, go for a white river-rafting excursion, river cruise, or bungee jumping.

Day 3 - Kasane

The Adventure starts today as you make your way over the border and into Botswana to the small touristy town of Kasane. It is a short trip, but make time at the border post for passport formalities (please enquire on Visa requirements and apply for re-entry Visas for Botswana).

The rest of the morning is spent in the Chobe National Park in search of the big five. The Chobe National Park is the third largest game park in Botswana and has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa and is undoubtedly famous for its large herds of Elephant and Buffalo. An afternoon river cruise is welcomed on the Chobe River soaking in the last of the sun rays before settling into camp on the banks of the Chobe River.

Day 4 - Nambwa Camp, Namibia

Waking up to the sounds of Africa, breakfast will be enjoyed at the camp before packing up and heading through the Chobe National Park to Namibia. You will once again pass through passport formalities at Ngoma Bridge heading west through the Caprivi Strip.

Arriving at your camp mid-afternoon, you will have time to set up camp and take an afternoon game drive in the local game reserve in search of more of the big five and not to mention a wealth of Wetland birdlife. A truly spectacular and typical African safari experience.

Day 5 - Swamp Stop, Botswana

Continuing along the Caprivi Strip early morning towards Divundu, you will head south and enter Botswana once again through Mahango Game Reserve (Botswana re-entry Visa required). During the short drive through the game reserve, you may encounter sable, elephant and red lechwe along the river banks.

Heading south along the Okavango Pan-handle, you make your way to the next overnight camp at Swamp Stop. Situated on the banks of the floodplain, there are a number of activities to do: These include Pepere Island game-viewing, Pepere Island Mokoro rides, and Okavango Delta scenic boat cruises.

Day 6 to 7 - Gweta

You will have a lengthy drive this morning, so there will be an early breakfast. You will head south further along the Okavango Delta Panhandle towards the travel capital of Botswana: Maun. You will have a short stopover in Maun to do a little shopping before continuing to Gweta.

Gweta is situated a short distance away from the Makgadikgadi salt pans where you can explore the area in search of the African meerkat, the great baobab and see how the way in which the locals live. Spend the full day on day seven, at your own cost, exploring the vast expanse of the Makgadikgadi pans or relax at the pool at the lodge.

Day 8 - Elephant Sands

After a short distance drive, you will be arriving at Elephants Sands, which is a surprisingly and yet wonderful treat after seven days on safari and yet at the same time, an adventurous experience which will create lasting memories for you.

Elephant Sands is home to herds of elephants that roam freely through the lodge area situated in 16,000 hectare of unfenced private wildlife conservancy. The lack of fences allows all wildlife to wander freely through the conservancy. A truly exceptional experience to any intrepid traveler.

Day 9 - Kwa Nonkeng

You will have another lengthy drive heading south via Nata and Francistown towards the border to South Africa. Arriving late afternoon at your lodge at Kwa Nonkeng, you will settle in for a cool dip in the pool before enjoying your last dinner together.

Day 10 - Johannesburg

You will get an early morning start today for border formalities into South Africa where you head south towards Johannesburg. Arriving late afternoon in Johannesburg, you will arrive at your place of accommodation.

  • A river cruise on the Chobe River
  • Game drive in Mahango Game Reserve
  • Game drive in The Chobe National Park
  • Pepere Island game-viewing
  • Pepere Island Mokoro rides
  • Okavango Delta scenic boat cruises

The safari trip will take place in different locations in Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa. You will start in Livingstone, then move on to Kasane where you will have a game drive through The Chobe National Park. You will then go to Nambwa Camp in Namibia and move on to Swamp Stop in Botswana. Then, you will head to Gweta where you will spend some time in Makgadikgadi. The next stop is in Elephant Sands, then Kwa Nonkeng, and you will then go to Johannesburg as your final stop.

The price of the package includes daily breakfast and dinner. On the first day, you will only have dinner, while on the last day, you will only get breakfast. The Bosetti's Safari vacation

CONS Cons: The lodge was twenty minutes outside the park and it was a very cold ride going in. other than that it was great!

PROS Pros: I loved our guide David. He picked us up and he was always a joy to be around. Extremely friendly and knowable about South Africa. We felt safe with him. He kept us on schedule and very busy during our trip. He took us to places we did not except to go and showed us some of the most beautiful sites. He knew a lot about the animals in Kruger Park and we loved the fact that he joined us on one of our trips. The Kroger Adventure lodge was very nice. The staff was my favorite. They were very accommodating and always friendly. The had a nice breakfast every morning and nice dinner. One night David even cooked for us on the campfire. The entire experience was amazing and a trip of a life time. I want to come back to africa and do more trips as long as David is our Guide.

Review by Rob Wishart from United Kingdom

    Hazyview unfit for use!

CONS Cons: I was the ONLY guest at Hazyview but still got a room with dodgy wiring, no heating nor hot water. Told staff and got moved to one with heating(still no hot water; no safe here either). Wifi only available at reception area, however staff went home after mealtime and I then had no WiFi. Again, remember that I was the only guest - are we to believe none of the accommodation is fit for use (remembering that these trips are expensive). I saw at least 6 staff - is nobody responsible for the quality of accommodation? (Less importantly? There was no opportunity for a Bush walk as advertised).

PROS Pros: Wildlife abundant and guide very sharp eyed and knowledgeable.

Organizer response: We sincerely apologize on behalf of Adventour for the bad experience at Kruger Adventure Lodge (KAL). We have in the meantime investigated and can provide the below response after talking with the Duty manager on duty for those 2 nights. Please see my feedback below. Please note that the below points are from the lodge itself and not from Adventour. - Aircon/Heater in room 5. In perfect working condition. The plug switch was off. Situated just underneath the unit. Will take responsibility for this as it still should be switched on. - Hot water fine in room 5. Just not boiling. Turned up the thermostat 5 degrees. This will then be boiling. - Hot water fine in room 10. Just takes about 1min to get hot. This was timed. - Wifi. Guest was not asked to leave. He already had had supper and was in his room. The reception closed at 9pm as the Lodge was quiet. He probably came put later and saw that the reception was closed. He would never be asked to leave. On behalf of KAL management and maintenance I would like to apologize for the unsatisfactory stay for your client. These issues have been dealt with.

"Absolutely fantastic experience! I booked last minute as a solo traveler. I was paired with another group of like-minded travelers and an excellent guide/driver. Over our 4 day trip I saw all Big 5 (and 4 of the 5 "Ugly 5") and the staff went out of their way to make the trip perfect. On our last night, the staff heard that we wanted to try an authentic South African dinner so they changed the menu just for us. Great service all around!"

"The first place we stayed was really nice and we loved the staff and Eric and Jeffrey were great guides. The food was also really nice. We liked the fact that it was just the 3 of us. That exclusivity is awesome. We also really enjoyed David and his knowledge about the park, conservation and the animals”"

"What an amazing trip! We were a group of 4 joined by another group of 5 for 2 days of touring through Pilanesberg Game Reserve with Dave (the owner). We couldn't have imagined a better experience! I got amazing views of all the animals and surprisingly the animals were so close to us the whole time. We never struggled to see their beauty, but also were able to watch them in their natural habitat. The camping was fun, great food and braai at a great location where we swam while waiting for the peak animal watching time. Dave was a blast to hang out with and his stories round the campfire were phenomenal. We'll be back to ask about the baboon story soon."

"From start till the end, it did not feel like a tour! Very personalized experience and they go the extra mile be it accomodating our requests or making sure our experience was like no other to ensuring we finish the tour and transition to our next stop safely. Very warm and friendly interactions with an extremely passionate and knowledgeable guide exceeded our expectations and then some!"
