Program

Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have an early departure from Kampala at 06:00 and transfer for your 2-day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari. Your first stop will be at the equator for a formative talk and craft shopping in case you need some. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching in time for lunch at the lodge then check in. Carry out a boat cruise in the afternoon along the Kazinga Channel to the shores of Lake Edward. Hippos, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, and water birds are commonly sighted along the channel which joins the two lakes.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala

Have a morning breakfast before you head for a game drive to search for the early risers. The game drive will take you through Kasenyi track where you will see the big cats that are active on their daily hunts. You will spot out animals such as lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, elephants, birds, butterflies, and the savanna trees.

You have chances of seeing lots of animals and this would work out if you made arrangements with them before traveling to the park. What a lovely safari! Transfer to your lodge for lunch and you are off for your journey to Kampala reaching in the evening. This is the end of 2-day Queen Elizabeth National Park wildlife safari.

This safari will take place at Queen Elizabeth National Park, and it will start and end in Kampala. The park covers an area of over 774 square miles between Lake Edward and Lake George, around the Kazinga Channel connecting the two. The park has a wide variety of terrain, including volcanic craters, grassy plains, and tropical forest. The Kazinga Channel has the largest concentration of hippos in the world!
