During the tour, you can choose from two beautiful accommodations. You can spend your three nights either at the three-star Rainforest Hotel or at the five-star Green Park Hotel in Chitwan.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

On your arrival at Sauraha bus park, Tadi bus stop, or Bharatpur Airport (BHR), a staff member will receive you. You will then be transferred to the resort where you will be offered refreshment and be given a briefing of its facilities. After being given your programs for the day, your room will then be allocated to you.

  • 15:00 Tharu village tour, followed by a trip to the visitors' center at Chitwan and the bank of the Rapti River where you can see breathtaking sunset views
  • 19:00 Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers
  • 20:00 Dinner

Day 2: Chitwan National Park

  • 06:00 Wake up call
  • 06:30 Breakfast
  • 07:00 Canoe ride along the Rapti River, an excellent opportunity for bird watching and seeing the two rare species of crocodiles, the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial, followed by a jungle walk

  • 20:00 Dinner

Day 3: Chitwan National Park

Location

This safari will take place at Chitwan National Park in Nepal, one of the finest national parks in Asia. It lies in the lowlands of south-central Nepal, covering an area of 932 square kilometers, and has been listed as a World Heritage site since 1984. It is renowned for its variety and amount of wildlife. It is home to some endangered species, such as the Royal Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, gaurs, sloth bears, monkeys, and varieties of deer, crocodiles, and butterflies, and over 530 species of colorful birds. The park also offers a variety of flora.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Bharatpur Airport (BHR). Airport transfer is not included in the price.

There is a daily flight from Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) to Bharatpur Airport (BHR), which takes about 25 minutes. Their naturalist will meet you at the airport and take you to the Rainforest Hotel if you opt for the airport transfer service.

If you wish, you can also reach the hotel by rental car. Depart from Kathmandu or Pokhara early in the morning for a five-hour drive with a picturesque view of rivers and valleys along the Prithvi Highway and Mugling-Narayanghat road. You will be at the hotel by lunch.

Arrival by boat

From Kathmandu or Pokhara, you will be transported to a raft put-in point on Trishuli River, where you will be dropped off for a white water rafting experience. During the journey, you can enjoy high and low water waves and surrounding scenery. In the end, a representative will be waiting to take you to the hotel.

Children aged 10 and above will have to pay in full, while children below 10 years have a 40% discount and those below the age of 2 (infants) are free. ID proof for children is required. Infants should be on sharing basis with their parents and on their laps during the activities because the seats occupied are chargeable per the rule.
