Day 1: Sauraha to Chitwan National Park
A representative will pick you up on your arrival at Sauraha Bus Park, Tadi, or Bharatpur Airport (BHR). You will then be transferred to the resort where you will be offered refreshment and will be given a briefing on the facilities. After being given your programmes for the day, your room will then be allocated to you.

Village tour
You will go to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit to the National Park Visitor's center where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife. Enjoy the sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.
Canoe ride along the Rapti River
This is an excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the two rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial.
Jeep Safari
An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (if you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.

This safari will take place at Chitwan National Park, Nepal. The Chitwan National Park is one of the finest national parks in Asia, it lies in the lowlands of south-central Nepal, covering an area of 932 square kilometers and is listed a World Heritage site since 1984. It is renowned for its variety and amount of wildlife.
It is home for some endangered species such as The Royal Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Gaurs as well as Sloth Bear, Monkeys and varieties of Deer, Crocodiles, and Butterflies and over 530 species of colorful birds. The park also offers a variety of flora.

There is a daily flight from Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) to Bharatpur Airport (BHR) which takes about 25 minutes. A representative will meet you at the airport and take you to Hotel Rainforest.
Driving directions from Kathmandu
Departure from Kathmandu or Pokhara early in the morning for five hours drive having a picturesque view of river and valleys along the Prithvi highway and Mugling to Narayanghat road, you will be at the hotel for lunch.
