Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Avani Victoria Falls Resort
On arrival at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI), you will meet and greet by the driver who will then assist you with luggage and transfer you to Avani Victoria Falls Resort your home for the next three nights. Then, you will check-in into the hotel and relax.
Day 2: Guided tour of the falls and sunset boat cruise - Victoria falls, Zambia
The day will start with a nice full English breakfast and then you will be picked up for a guided Victoria Falls tour and back to the resort for lunch and relax. Later in the afternoon you will be picked up for a two-hour sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River with drink, snack then drop off at the resort for dinner and bedtime.
Day 3: Avani Victoria Falls Resort
As usual, you will have breakfast and may relax. You are allowed to visit the Victoria Falls by yourself as many times as you want and have a bed. There are a lot of exciting activities that you can try on this free day while in Victoria Falls such as a helicopter flight. Please mention it during your reservation and Absolute Zambia can include it for you or rather you can book it directly with the resort front desk.
Day 4: Transfer to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI)
You will enjoy breakfast and check out of the resort and transfer to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI) for your flight back home.

Victoria Falls
The one sight that very visitors to Africa must-see is the famous Victoria Falls, one of the seven great natural wonders of the world. Located on the Zambezi River in Zambia, Victoria Falls is over a mile wide, dwarfing Niagara Falls by comparison flood season, over three million gallons per second pour over the falls to the bottom of the chasm, almost 400 feet below!
The falls can be viewed from Knife Edge Footbridge, which spans a narrow ridge of rock between an island facing the falls and the mainland. Livingstone
Named after the famous Victorian missionary explorer, Dr. David Livingstone who explored this area extensively, Livingstone Town was established in 1905. As a major European settlement, being close to the Zambezi River crossing over to Southern Rhodesia, the town was made the capital of Northern Rhodesia in 1911. As the capital, it enjoyed excellent facilities far superior to anything elsewhere in the country as can be seen from the surviving Edwardian buildings that line the city’s main road.
Livingstone even had the distinction of having the country’s first newspaper. The capital was moved to Lusaka in 1935 and the bustling city has become a quiet town but still retaining a special charm. A major event in 2011 was the installation of the town’s first set of traffic lights. The proximity to the Zambezi River and the spectacular Victoria Falls has led Livingstone to become a base for travelers from all over the world wanting to explore this Wonder of the world.
