Location

Samburu National Reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in the northern part of Kenya; it’s an explored national reserve as it’s rarely visited by tourists. It measures approximately 104 square kilometers and it’s mainly a savannah grassland with clusters of acacia trees and thorn trees. It derives its name from the surrounding community, the Samburu people.
