Have fun on this wonderful adventure in safari heaven; Kenya and Tanzania. You will enjoy a holiday packed with activities that will become a memory you will never forget! This is an amazing opportunity prepared by Absolute Holiday Safaris Ltd for you to experience the wildlife safari where all sorts of animals await you in their natural habitats in the wild.
You will be accommodated at various tented camps and budget hotels while in Kenya. In Tanzania, you will stay at Arusha Center Inn Hotel, Seronera camp, and other camps at the location where the safari will take place.
Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., there will be a pick up from the hotel and you will depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refueling and lunch. Proceed to the game reserve arriving around 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at camp. You will have a little siesta and then later proceed on to the first introduction game viewing in Masai Mara game reserve. After that, you will be returning back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, while looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
There will be an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, you will depart the Mara region for Nakuru, with lunch en-route and scenic views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Dinner and overnight will be at a budget hotel.
After breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific bird-life including flamingo's. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Drive to Amboseli national park arriving late evening with game viewing en-route to camp. Dinner and overnight will be at a camp.
It will be a day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. There will be picnic lunches. You will then return to overnight at the camp.
There will be an early morning game viewing and then you will return to the camp for a full breakfast. You will then check out and proceed to Namanga border after the immigration process and catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. You will be met there by a guide and transferred to Arusha Center Inn Hotel booked for bed and breakfast. Today, you may choose a dinner at your own leisure.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. You may visit this museum at extra cost. The findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch will be at the Seronera camp.
You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp
After breakfast in the camp, you will leave with picnic lunches for a full day in this savannah grassland park tracking various spices of animals which inhabit this park. You will break for the picnic lunch and continue with the game drive till evening. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. You will return to the camp for a late breakfast. Enjoy a mid morning drive and then depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en-route. Upon arrival, you will have the evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park where the inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of bird-life. Lunch will be at the camp. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha Center Inn.
After breakfast at Arusha Center Inn Hotel, there will be someone to take you to a shuttle bus to Nairobi where you will be received and transferred to the airport or your Nairobi hotel or you will be transferred directly from your hotel to the airport to catch your flight home or to another destination.
