You will stay at various accommodations on a shared double or private room occupancy basis.
Accommodation is budget tents and hotels. Electricity is not provided for
the whole of the night, light is switch off between 1030pm to 1100pm. Hot water showers are provided, incase your tent doesn't have hot showers report to the camp manager.
Accommodation in Kenya is on budget permanent tents, while in Tanzania it is on pitched tents.For one night you will stay at Arusha Center Inn hotel in Arusha which is a budget hotel.
Program
Day 1: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning, meet your Kenya safari driver guide at your pick-up point and transfers to our office for an introduction to other tourists and Kenya part safari driver guide. Start the African safari holiday in Kenya and Tanzania with a drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. With a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall and Narok Town for early lunch. Arrive at Masai Mara campsite in the late afternoon.
Enjoy an evening game drive in Masai Mara in search of the African wildlife species that inhabit here till late evening. Witness the sunset and drive back to the campsite with first-day African wildlife adventure safari memories. Dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast at the campsite and depart with packed picnic lunches for a whole day of safari in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Masai Mara is a savanna grassland famous for the large population of African wildlife species and the annual migration of the wildebeest and Zebras from July to October.
Traverse Masai Mara with several up-close encounters of the African wildlife species, break for your picnic lunch in the wilderness, and continue with the search for animals till late evening. Exit the Kenya game reserve and drive to the campsite for an optional activity, dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nakuru Town
Leave the campsite before breakfast and drive to Masai Mara to see the sunrise and track the African wildlife species as they graze and others hunt in the morning. At around 9 a.m., drive back to the campsite for full breakfast, check out, and drive to Nakuru Town.
With a stopover at Mai Mahiu for a hot lunch and again at Lake Naivasha for an optional activity at extra cost, drive further with the view of Lake Elementaita while on the main highway to arrive at your Nakuru Budget hotel for dinner and overnight. If time permits, you will spend the evening at leisure where you can visit and discover the streets of Nakuru town.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha
Enjoy your breakfast at your Nakuru hotel then by 8 a.m., depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a sanctuary for the endangered Rhino species, Large flocks of the Pink Flamingos, Buffalos, Leopard, Lions, Baboons Monkey, Zebras, Giraffes among other African wildlife species and birds.
Explore Lake Nakuru National Park in 4 hours and leave by 11 a.m. and drive to Lake Naivasha to arrive at the hotel in time for lunch. This is a combined wildlife adventure safari where you can relax at your hotel or choose an optional activity. Late afternoon and evening, you will be on your own and your Kenya safari guide can assist you on what you can do, dinner, and overnight at the same hotel.
Day 5: Hell’s Gate National Park to Amboseli National Park
Breakfast at your Naivasha budget hotel, check out, and drive to Hell’s Gate National Park main gate for registration so as to start the African safari holiday in Kenya and Tanzania experience. There are several activities such as game watching, biking, rock climbing, nature walk with animals, and nature walk at the gorge.
Hell's Gate National Park has no predators and tourists enjoy it a lot as they can take pictures with animals and walk alongside the African animals as they explore and discover this national park sitting on Lake Naivasha land. Exit the park and drive to Amboseli National Park with a stopover for hot lunch on the main highway. Arrive at Amboseli Campsite late evening for dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park
Early breakfast at the campsite with great views of the beauty of Amboseli National Park, depart the camp with a packed picnic lunch box for a full day of game drive. Amboseli National Park is the second visited park after Masai Mara and famous for the large herds of the African Elephants, The views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the swampy areas where animals meet in search of drinking water and African elephants bathe and graze.
Enjoy your daily activities as you traverse the Amboseli National park plains in search of the great African wildlife species. Visit the Amboseli National Park viewpoint for thrilling views. After 8 hours of game drive exit the national park and drive to the campsite for optional activity, dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park to Arusha
Early breakfast at the campsite, check out, and depart the campsite with packed picnic lunches for the final day at Amboseli National Park. Traverse the Amboseli Kimana gate to Amboseli Mashenani gate where you will exit the park and drive to Kenya-Tanzania Namanga border for immigration and shuttle bus to Arusha. Arrive at Arusha Hotel in the late afternoon check-in and spend the evening at own, dinner, and overnight at the same hotel.
Day 8: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Breakfast at the hotel and meet Absolute Holiday Safaris Tanzania agent for introduction to other tourists and the Tanzania safari driver guide. Drive to Lake Manyara has a unique supply of water by underground springs, Rivers and Streams, Tree Climbing Lions, large flocks of the Pink Flamingos among other African wildlife species, and birds. After 6 hours of game, drive to the national park exit and drive to Panorama campsite for an optional activity, dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
Early breakfast at the campsite, check out with packed picnic lunches and drive to Serengeti National Park located in the northern part of Tanzania and famously known for the massive annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras which move from one point to another in search of the new grazing areas. Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the afternoon for registration and as you traverse from the main gate to the central Serengeti campsite for dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 10: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservancy Area
Early breakfast at the campsite, check out with packed lunch. Enjoy the game drive for another 6 hours up to noon. Have picnic lunch and exit Serengeti National Park for a drive to Ngorongoro Conservancy Area. Arrive at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite in the early evening. Pinch tents, dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Day 11: Ngorongoro Conservancy Area to Arusha
Breakfast at the campsite, check out with a packed picnic lunch box for your game drive at Ngorongoro Crater which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have a 6 hours thrilling game drive down the Ngorongoro Crater, see the few black Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos, Wildebeest, Zebras, Giraffes among other African wildlife species. After the picnic lunches at the crater rim, ascend with a game drive to the main gate, exit, and drive to Arusha town arriving at Arusha Hotel in the evening, check-in for dinner, and overnight.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast at your Arusha hotel. Our Tanzania agent will be there to make sure you are transferred to your right destination either a shuttle bus back to Nairobi or a transfer to Arusha Airport. A transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport will attract an extra charge of 30 USD per car from Arusha to Kilimanjaro.
