Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 9 a.m. and met your professional driver / tour guide who will give briefing about your trip and drive you with picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park (about 135 kilometers) for a full day game viewing.

Lake Manyara is home to giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, and grassy flood plains. The contrasts of this area are simply breathtaking with the open plains, huge escarpment, soda lake, dense woodlands, and distance volcanic peaks.

Animals such as elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthogs, wildebeests, Blue monkeys, and buffaloes can be seen.

This park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions, leopards, and birdlife with over 400 species having been recorded within the park's boundaries. Highlights include pink-hued flamingos, herons, storks, and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Jambo campsite.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro, Descend 610 meters into Ngorongoro Crater floor for six hours game viewing with picnic lunch. Spot the endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeest and other wild animals.

Also in Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake, you will see many species of birds including flamingos. All these animals in turn support large predators such as lions and leopards, and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals. You will drive back to Arusha late in the evening.

Lake Manyara National park

Lake Manyara has a considerably different landscape from any of the other parks. Enjoy the picture lush woodlands and the beaches of this Rift Valley soda lake where giraffe, elephants, and wildebeest enjoy an endless supply of water. You will often see these enormous animals in the water, sitting, sipping, or just cooling off.

Due to this unique habitat, there are hundreds of bird species able to live in the forests and the ultimate site-seeing prize of this area is the tree-climbing lion. Is the only place you can practice night game driving within the park boundaries.

Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a fine blend of landscapes, people, wildlife, and Africa's main archaeological site. The Ngorongoro Crater is regarded as a natural wonder of the world (the eighth) and has been declared a World Heritage Site.

It is the largest intact crater in the world and is teaming with wildlife, with virtually all the big game species found here, including, zebra, wildebeest, black rhino, antelope, elephants, giraffe, buffalo, lion, cheetah, and leopard.

The area is also an ornithologists’ paradise, with the thousands of flamingos wading in the shallows of Lake Magadi and hundreds of other species of birdlife.
