During this safari, you will stay in one of the safari lodges inside Tsavo East National Park.
You will leave Watamu, Malindi early morning after breakfast and drive to Tsavo East National Park. You will enter Tsavo East National Park through Sala gate and begin the game drive. You will arrive at Voi Safari Lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. After lunch, the game drive will continue in search of Tsavo East game. You may see the big cats, red elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in one of the lodges in Tsavo East National Park.
There will be an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at your lodge. You will leave your lodge mid-morning to return to Watamu, Malindi, arriving at your beach hotel for late lunch.
Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks form one of the largest national parks in the world and covers a massive four percent of Kenya’s total land area. Tsavo East, the larger of the two, lies to the east of the Nairobi to Mombasa road, equidistant between Nairobi and Mombasa. The azure and emerald Galana River flows amidst the arid bush land of Tasvo East. Home to some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya and bordered by the Yatta plateau, it provides a spectacular environment for a game drive.
