You will be met at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) and transferred three-hours to your game lodge in the world famous Kruger National Park. After checking in, enjoy a thrilling game drive in an open-top vehicle accompanied by a lodge ranger. Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately in this vast wildlife wilderness. Hopefully, you will see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest, and maybe even giraffe, as well as several of the big five, before dining under the stars in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide!
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day, as you enjoy an open-top game viewing drive in the world famous Kruger National Park. Explore this vast two-million hectare game sanctuary that is the size of Wales, offering magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hope to see several of the big five today such as lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino, as well as many other species before returning to your lodge for breakfast.
The rest of the morning is free to relax by the swimming pool or enjoy bird watching at the lodge, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. With nearly 150 different species of mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger National Park, you can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, wild dogs, and many other interesting animals. With over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures, and storks, outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed.
After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the milky way as you have never seen them before, as well as the spectacular southern cross.
Time permitting, enjoy some final early morning game viewing, before your three-hour transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) for your onward flight. You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain. Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Today is free for independent sightseeing in Cape Town. It's recommended you purchase a day pass on-board the convenient hop-off bus, which stops at all Cape Town’s key sights and beaches. The "red route" bus stops at the Table Mountain base station, where you can buy a ticket to ascend by cable car and enjoy one of the world’s most famous views. Continue to Camps Bay beach and the many attractions of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
Today is recommended for an optional full day tour to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you may see baboons, ostrich, and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season, from July to November.
Your tour travels through Hout Bay and along spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape Point peninsula, returning via Simons Town, Fish Hoek, Constantia, and Kirstenbosch Gardens. This is a scenic tour of the whole Cape Peninsula, with the optional opportunity of visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Today is recommended for an optional full day tour to the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry.
Explore the historic university town of Stellenbosch and several wine estates on this famous wine route, which stretched from Paarl through to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy a cellar tour and some wine tasting, before returning to Cape Town in the late afternoon.
Transfer to Cape Town International Airport (CPT) for your onward flight. You will be met at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) and transferred to your hotel near the mighty Zambezi River. Check in, settle in, and relax whilst you catch your first glimpses of the magnificent "smoke that thunders" first discovered by David Livingstone and still one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. The flow of water over the Victoria Falls is greatest from February to June following the summer rains, but they are a magnificent sight at any time of year.
Today is recommended for a visit to the mighty Victoria Falls and its rainforest, which you can explore on foot and enjoy the magnificent views. It is suggested you take your own raincoat for walking in the rainforest, as those on hire are well used.
Afterwards you can enjoy an optional tour to the Zimbabwean side of the falls, where passport and visa are required, or participate in other optional activities such as a helicopter flight over the falls, an elephant-back safari or simply relax by the swimming pool and enjoy the facilities of your hotel.
In the late afternoon you may go for an optional sunset cruise on the Zambezi river where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and abundant bird life.
This day is at leisure to explore the small town of Victoria Falls or relax on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river. Adrenalin seekers can participate in many adventure activities such as canoeing in the gentler rapids above the falls, abseiling or white water rafting in the turbulent gorge below the falls, or watch bungee jumping from Victoria Falls bridge!
Transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) for your flight home will be arranged today.

Kirstenbosch is a famous botanical garden nestled at the eastern foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town. Franschhoek is a town in South Africa’s Western Cape with centuries-old vineyards and Cape Dutch architecture.
Kruger National Park, in northeastern South Africa, is one of Africa’s largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the big five: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles, and storks. Mountains, bush plains, and tropical forests are all part of the landscape.
Victoria Falls is a waterfall in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The national parks contain abundant wildlife including sizable populations of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, Grant's zebra, and a variety of antelope. Katanga lions, African leopards, and South African cheetahs are only occasionally seen. Vervet monkeys and baboons are common. The river above the falls contains large populations of hippopotamus and crocodile. African bush elephants cross the river in the dry season at particular crossing points.
